Solon Stampede

In response to COVID-19 during the 2020 season, we added another tournament to our schedule last year, and it was a huge success. Due to that success, we've decided to make the Chagrin Valley Classic an annual event! We do not hold spots, as we've tried in the past and been burned; therefore, registration is confirmed only with registration form AND payment. We can accept up to 16 8U teams, for what will make an awesome end of season tournament! Last year, we had 16 teams, and held two distinct brackets: one for teams geared in a more competitive setting, and another for teams who are still in a more developmental stage. Both brackets had very competitive games and some great play! We will look to do that this year again as well. Also last year, and the plan again for this year, will be utilizing The Golf Dome as a secondary site, which is an all turf field! It's an amazing experience for the kids, and we try and get as many games there as possible for both divisions.

Tournament Details

• Ages
  • 8U CP: $350 
• 3 game guarantee pool play format 
• Teams are asked to provide one new and one used baseball per game during pool play; tournament will provide baseballs for semi-finals and championship games
• Tournament will use the app Tourney Machine for all schedule/weather updates and communication
• Two umpires per game
• The tournament will be played at Solon Community Park and The Golf Dome
• Tournament games will begin at 9am on Saturday & Sunday, unless weather dictates earlier start times
