As we move forward with our season, we are excited that we get to provide you with a great baseball tournament experience! We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, as well as work to enforce the guidelines set forth by the state, as well as our additional guidelines.

We are asking all participants to sign the COVID-19 waiver form. Any player who does not have a waiver signed will be ineligible to participate in our tournaments. The waiver can be found by clicking below.

  2. CLE Summer Classic - June 5-7 (10U-13U) (CANCELLED!)

All of these tournaments will continue to be some of the most affordable around, and give you excellent communication, friendly facilities, the best youth umpiring associations, and a "team-centered" schedule. Please be sure to check out the comments below to see what our coaches and families are saying about our tournaments!

Please note that despite hosting on the website, Classic Tournaments are not directly affiliated with Stampede Baseball. Classic Tournaments are a separate entity.

Classic Tournaments Announcement Regarding COVID-19

I hope everyone is staying safe during this time filled with angst and frustration. I wanted to put out the following in regards to our tournaments following the announcements made from Governor DeWine regarding the COVID-19 crisis:

We are following daily, as I'm sure many of you are, announcements made by the governor. We are going to try and hold off for as long as possible to make a decision. It might not be until the week before our tournaments...as Governor DeWine has said many times, the goal is to "flatten the curve". If the curve is flattened in NEO by summer and we can play, we will play. There are the factors that we are going to take into consideration, including school closures, other athletic associations, and city and league recreation openings.

We will make every effort to get this thing done! If we are not able to play, YOU WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND! I'm reading that some tournaments are still taking a cut, whether it's the 75% for "no games played" or a smaller administrative fee. We are going to hold off on all of our administrative costs until the very end. If we do not play due to Coronavirus, you will receive 100% of your entry fee back!

So if you are interested in participating in one of our tournaments, even with everything going on, I still encourage you to register and complete registration with payment. There is no downside, nor is there a possibility of not receiving some money back if we do not play.

We are in the process of coming up with contingency plans based off of when these restrictions will be lifted. Our goal has, and will continue to be (especially this year!!), to give our kids a great experience playing the best game there is. We will do everything in our power to try and get out on the field this year.

Comments from Past Participants

"It was such a breath of fresh air playing in the CLE Summer Classic. With so many of these tournaments, it's all about making money, and the effort you get from directors is half-hearted. With you guys, you always take teams into account and doing whatever it takes. We will definitely be back next year."

"This is the first tournament I've ever been to where, not only was there a game plan in place for rain, but it was communicated to teams the day before. Your preparation and effort this weekend was second to none."

"I have to say everything you and your father and anyone involved in this tournament were first class.  Fields, excellent, communication, and umpires etc.  nice job Brett and hope to be a part of it in the future.  Nice job guys!"

"I wanted to let you know that I thought you did a great job handling the rescheduling for the weekend.  Not much else you could do and the communication was timely.  Great job and good luck this season."

"Great tournament! Thank you for having us. For how much rain we received after the Friday night games, the fields were in excellent shape for Saturday. My teams and parents enjoyed it very much and are already asking if we play again next year, if you'll have us back. Thanks again!"

"Our players and parents all commented on how convenient and clean the facilities were not to mention the efficient manner in which the overall tournament was run. The fields were in nice shape, the umpires were outstanding (only missing a call here and there (: ) and game times were strictly held. Kudos to you and your ‘team’ that worked and organized the Solon Spring Classic. I will highly recommend to other coaches."

"Thanks for a great tournament. The communication was excellent & to me that is most important when participating in a tournament."

"Just wanted to say thanks for the great communication all weekend. Tournament was well run as was advertised and we will certainly look to bring our teams back in the future."
